Health and Safety in the Workplace

Preventing accidents and ill health caused by work is essential for everyone at work.

This ½ day course is designed for staff who work in situations where their personal safety may be at risk, both inside and outside the workplace and when travelling.

• Know how to assess personal safety risk factors
• Recognise effective ways of reducing risks
• Know how to deal with and manage conflict and aggression in the work place setting
• Identify and adopt practical ways of protecting their own personal safety while at work or travelling
• Understand the reporting procedures for health and safety
