Intermediate Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care

This apprenticeship is suited to someone starting their career in Health and Social Care or is already working within the sector and wants to improve their own knowledge and skills.

The framework of qualifications and training required to complete the Intermediate Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care includes the following:

Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care
Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care
Level 2 Award in Employment Responsibilities & Rights in Health, Social Care or Children and Young People’s Settings
Level 1 Award in Functional Skills – Maths
Level 1 Award in Functional Skills – English
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills

 

 

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements.  However an initial assessment of your current knowledge and skills will be undertaken to ensure this apprenticeship is the right one for you.

Typically this course will take a minimum of 12 months.  You will attend either group or one-to one support workshops at our centre and to ensure you are competent in completing tasks a CBD assessor will visit you periodically at your work place to complete observations with you.
